I hated to do it but I wanted the space to plant some bulbs. There were little tomatoes on them too, but I don't think they would have ripened.dorothyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12338187523349055470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5073185635856849089.post-37617552422876704582011-11-02T07:57:30.027-07:002011-11-02T07:57:30.027-07:00Tomatoes are surely survivors - as a species, of c...Tomatoes are surely survivors - as a species, of course, not individuals. I used to work at a place where routinely, an off-site caterer used to set up regular buffets in the lobby. They always unloaded/loaded their van in the same little grassy place by the curb, and often the food waste would get spilled on the ground. We constantly had volunteer tomatoes growing here, due to the salads being spilled.Glennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03681336164718681936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5073185635856849089.post-68641262870027926132011-11-02T01:47:47.431-07:002011-11-02T01:47:47.431-07:00We've gotten a warm up here in N. Well, they won't last long-freezing temps headed back in next week. But, they sure are stubborn!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10122524042294993949noreply@blogger.com
