Marina Del Rey Espalier

Took some time away from the garden to get a couple of back surgeries taken care of.  The surgeons call it fusion.  I call it grafting.  Soon I hope to have a much stronger trunk allowing me to be as graceful as an espalier pear. At least my room has a patio.

Kickin' back in Marina Del Rey.

Hi dear
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope all goes well and your back emerges as strong as a tree.....of course, I do hope you will still be able to bend over.......gardens demand that.

Sometime we need to slow a bit, that's what winter is for I've been told, but I never listen.

The back work will help slow you down for a while. Good Providence on your recovery.

Oh, Maybelline. I haven't "popped" in very often, but I do check in from time to time. I hope your fusions mend beautifully and allow you to live a very full and happy and PAIN-FREE life on the other side of surgery. You'll be in my prayers!

Blessings,
Melissa
