Make It Work!

DSC_2225_6905Project Runway meets Maybelline’s Garden.  Tasteful scarecrow attire this season is all natural cotton fabric in pink tones.  Pink is complimentary to every complexion.  Since my scarecrow doesn’t have a complexion, the palette is lost.  Don’t forget accessories.  Using scare tape in two tones of silver and red metallic give just the right amount of “bling”.

The scarecrows were put to work this evening due to the fact that birds had pecked a peach off the tree and knocked down 4 apples.  They do a great job.  Ajax thought 2 strangers were in the garden and barked his disapproval.  Nevertheless.  He couldn’t deny that they were smarty dressed.DSC_2223_6903

Fierce!

I love your garden gals...very chic! And those sunflowers are gorgeous...gotta grow some next year.
(I replied to your question about tuberose on my blog.)

You have the most "stylish" garden around!
Hope that works to keep the birds out of your fruit. I've been having a dickens of a time with them in my blueberries.

I wondered what the 'Best Dressed' scarecrow was wearing this year. LOL! It works!

Your scarecrow is great. She needs two fistfulls of scare tape as little pom poms! Ha ha I'm a new follower from Backyard Farming and also don't live to far. At least, I see your location near ours on the news. LOL

Even Nina Garcia could get behind this one and, Lord knows, she hates anything that's vaguely wearable.

Scarecrow update:
The "jammie" gals seem to be making it work. No bird damage to report. They probably think it's me out there since I have been known to putter in my comfy jammies regularly.

I actually like the PJs- and how you mixed them up. The sunflowers are beautiful too! I think this photo is worthy of being in a magazine. You should submit it somewhere like Mary Jane's Farm! Very nice .
